Welcome to Young Company, RABBLE Theatre's Youth Theatre Education class for children aged 8 - 18. Come join in the fun to discover who you are, learn about the power of theatre and make friendships to last a lifetime. 

At Young Company, you'll be part of exciting productions, learn how to devise scenes, improvise and get stuck in with stage presence, stage management and of course, performing, all under the guidance of industry professionals. 

This autumn term our Young Company students will be reviving a RABBLE Theatre professional production, The Snow Queen, written by Anna Wheatley based on the original story by Hans Christian Andersen.

We find ourselves in a country called Denmark, in a city called Odense in a time unspecified. It is mid-winter. A dusting of frost clutches at window panes, the crisp air nips at your nose. The city is beautiful and busy. Houses are huddled so close together that their rooftops kiss. And it is here, in the embrace of two touching rooftops, that we find our heroes.

Gerda and Kai are inseparable, pals since birth, nothing can tear them apart. Until one winter’s day, Kai mysteriously disappears and Gerda is forced to set out on a treacherous journey across Scandinavia to find him.

Join Gerda as she sails the seas, breaks into palaces and wrestles her way out of forests to find Kai. Oh and you might learn to speak some crow along the way!

Trials are only available to new students not existing students. Once booked, class fees are non refundable and non-transferrable. 

Terms notice

We require a terms notice in writing when students want to stop coming to class at [email protected]. 

Access Fund

Our charity mission is to breakdown financial barriers in people accessing the arts, with our Access Fund (AF). The AF is a pot of money that we fundraise for throughout the year, to support children and adults in accessing our classes and productions. The process is simple and informal and please just get in touch at [email protected] to apply for help towards attending our classes.
